ISRI.ORG 31 2019 Annual Report Impact in a Year of Change ISRI Studios released a series of videos touting the benefits of recycling, including “The Economics of Successful Recycling” and “Recycling’s Economic Impact: Job Creation.” ISRI members can purchase and customize some of the videos. ISRI created a podcast complementing the ISRI Weekly Market Report . The ISRI.org website saw a 34% increase in new users in 2019 compared with the same period in 2018 (168,000 vs. 125,000). Page views also increased 20% (690,000 vs. 576,000). ISRI reached the milestone of 10,000 Twitter followers and 1.7 million total impressions on its social media channels . ISRI launched two new weekly e-newsletters: the ISRI Industry Wire , featuring headlines from around the industry and original reporting from Scrap magazine’s editors, and The Weekly Bale , a compilation of all the news, information, and events from ISRI from throughout the week. ISRI Connect , ISRI’s mobile app, now has more than 2,300 users. The ISRI Membership Directory & Industry Guide was completely refreshed and updated with new content. ISRI worked with the National Waste & Recycling Association, Solid Waste Association of North America, and Northeast Recycling Council to produce the Think Twice poster to educate the public on what materials do not belong in the residential recycling bin.
