11 ISRI currently has 21 chapters. All active, domestic associate, and nonmetallic consumer associate members of ISRI must belong to at least one chapter. Members may join either the chapter in which their headquarters is located or, if their primary business is paper recycling, the nationwide Paper Stock Industries Chap- ter, or if their primary business is scrap tire recycling, the Scrap Tire Processors Chapter. International associate members are not required but are encouraged to join chapters. Members may belong to additional chapters by paying the appropriate dues and/ or assessments. Following is a list of ISRI’s chapters and their geographic boundaries: Chicago Chapter: Northeast Illinois to the Wisconsin line east to the Indiana line south to State Rt. 36. The Illinois western line starts at Springfield, I-155 north to I-74 to I-80, continuing north on Iowa State Rt. 61 from Davenport to Dubuque. Empire Chapter: The entire state of NewYork except for NewYork City, Rockland County, Putnam County, Westchester County, and Long Island. The provinces of Quebec and Ontario, Canada, except for the section of Ontario from London west. Gulf Coast Chapter: The entire states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, as well as all of Kansas except the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area and all of Mexico excluding Baja. Indiana Chapter: The entire state of Indiana. Michigan Chapter: The entire state of Michigan. The southwest section of Ontario from London, Ontario, west. Mid-America Chapter: The entire state of Missouri, the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area in Kansas. The southwest- ern half of Illinois with I-74, I-155, and State Rt. 36 comprising the dividing line, along with the state line below State Rt. 36. Mid-Atlantic Chapter: The entire states of Delaware and Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the eastern half of Pennsylvania (the western border extends from the northern border at Bradford down through Altoona to the southern border near Bedford). New England Chapter: The entire states of Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Maritime Provinces. New Jersey Chapter: The entire state of New Jersey. New York Chapter: NewYork City, Long Island, Putnam County, Rockland County, and Westchester County. Northern Ohio Chapter: Northern Ohio bordered by the state line on the west, north, and east. The southern border is marked 30 miles north of I-70 across the state. Northwest Chapter: The entire states of Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The entire state of Iowa with the exception of the northeast corner east of Iowa State Rt. 61 starting in the south at Davenport and continuing north to Dubuque. The eastern portion of the province of Saskatchewan with a western border of Provincial Highway 35 and the entire province of Manitoba. Ohio Valley Chapter: The state of Ohio 30 miles north of I-70, the entire state of Kentucky, and all of West Virginia except for Northwest West Virginia with the Ohio/West Virginia state line as the western border to St. Mary’s and then down State Rt. 16 to I-79 north as the southern border, and State Rt. 250 west as the eastern border. Pacific Northwest Chapter: The entire states of Wash- ington, Oregon, Alaska, and British Columbia. Paper Stock Industries Chapter: Nationwide. All companies involved primarily with scrap paper recycling. Pittsburgh Chapter: Western Pennsylvania with the eastern border from Bradford in the north through and including Altoona through Bedford to the state line. Northwest West Vir- ginia with the Ohio/West Virginia state line as the western border from Pennsylvania to St. Mary’s and then down State Rt. 16 to I-79 north as the southern border, then State Rt. 250 west as the eastern border. Rocky Mountain Chapter: The entire states of Colora- do, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, the western section of Saskatchewan with the Provincial Highway 35 as the eastern border, and the province of Alberta. Scrap Tire Processors Chapter: Nationwide. All companies involved primarily with scrap tire recycling. Southeast Chapter: The entire states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. West Coast Chapter: California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Baja, Mexico.
